History
The Border GP Division Pty Ltd was established on 1 December 1993 and incorporated on 6 April 1994. On 1 July 2004 a new company was formed and named Border Division of General Practice Ltd. To adequately reflect the location and Division strengths it was resolved in 2008 to use the Trading Name of the Albury Wodonga Regional GP Network.

Mission Statement

Goal
The AWRGPN will become the voice of General Practice in the area. It will shape the development of General Practice by being involved in policy development and the enhancement of service provision.
Obligations
To ensure effective use of resources, to achieve the purposes of the GP Network, to address the identified needs of the members, the local community and the funding bodies and to satisfy the requirements of corporate governance.
